Paris - Moulin Rouge et Rue de Pigalle

Le Moulin Rouge, lungo il quartiere a luci rosse de la Pigalle, nacque nel 1889 sulla schiera de " Moulin de la Galette", un ristorante nella parte alta di Montmartre in cui vi si svolgevano degli spettacoli di danza.

Il successo del Moulin Rouge fu pazzesco ed il merito della sua fama in tutto il mondo fu dato dal tanto celebre quanto licenzioso "Can-Can" .

Con l'avvento del cinema, cantanti del calibro di Edith Piaf provvidero ad accrescere la sua notorietà momentaneamente offuscata.

Or ora assistere a un suo spettacolo comporta la firma sul libretto degli assegni.

The Moulin Rouge, in the red light distric of Montmartre ( Pigalle), was born in 1889 on the array of  " Moulin de la Galette", a restaurant at the top of Montmartre where dance performance took place.

Its success was crazy and the merit of his fame around the world was given by the so famous as licentious "Can-Can".

With the advent of the cinema, singers of the caliber of Edith Piaf provided to increase its notoriety temporarily blurred.
