Paris - Arc de Triomphe

All'inizio degli Champs Elysées, in Place de l'Etoile, si erge un importante monumento di Parigi l'Arco di Trionfo. Voluto nel 1806 da Napoleone e dal 1920 divenne simbolo della memoria per i caduti della 1^ guerra mondiale, con il posizionamento alla sua base della tomba del Milite Ignoto. e successivamente della Seconda.

In tutto ciò noi ci siamo arrivati in bicicletta dando inizio all'Odissea che ci avrebbe aspettato!

At the start of the Champs Elysées, in Place de l'Etoile, stand an important monument of Paris: Arc de Triomphe.
